Sponsorship Options
Overview
The New Forest Film Festival is looking for sponsorship. We are in our second year and are upping our game considerably in response to the fantastic feedback we received last year. The festival dates for this season are the 8th to the 16th June 2019 in venues in and around the New Forest in Hampshire, UK.

The big changes this year are that we are:
- Partnering with the New Forest District Council for promotional and financial support in finding venues and participants. More info at http://www.filmnewforest.com
- Adding a new group of categories specifically aimed at Student Entries, enabling new filmmakers to try and win a festival.
- Holding an awards ceremony to celebrate the category finalists, reveal the winners and hand out awards. This will be hosted by a well-known industry person - currently confirming availability and contracts. This will be to an audience of about 160 (six times our audience last year) and will be filmed and possibly streamed live.
- Holding a full day of screenings of all the finalist films for the general public and any of the filmmakers to see their film on the "big screen".
- Asking for sponsorship.
We have drawn up a list (below) of some of the benefits that we could offer you from the New Forest area in return for prizes for the festival or support for the event as a whole.

Categories
Our main objective is to get enough physical prizes to be able to award something to each category winner (x 14) and the "Audience Favourite" award (x 1). Other than cash, anything like free or discounted film gear; location hire; prop hire; training; software and anything to make it easier for them to make their next film would be especially welcome.
If you would like to sponsor a specific category or group of categories, the remaining available ones are as follows:
- International Entries (We are looking for approximately £300 each for these.)
- Comedy
- Sci-Fi
- Animation
- Student Entries (We are looking for approximately £150 each for these.)
- Narrative (Drama)
- Horror
- Comedy
- Animation
- Documentary
- Sci-Fi
- Music Videos
All films are a maximum of 10 minutes long.
Awards - The "Dereks"
If you would like to sponsor the production of a "Derek", the cost is £150 and you would get all of the sponsorship opportunities listed above as well as having your name engraved on the award.
Each one is 30cm x 12cm x 6cm and made from renewable timber sources from Beech, Purpleheart and Oak. Just imagine how proud a winner would be to show off their award and the fact that your logo/name would be talked about every time they did.
